Brilliant Smart Control Light Switch utilises Amazon's Display API to showcase contents in cards

At CES 2018, Brilliant announced that it would be utilising Amazon's Display Cards API to display contents in card format just like the Amazon Echo Show. Sometime last year,  Brilliant introduced their Smart Control Light Switch with an impressive design, a combination of both capacitive and touchscreen controls, and internal additional support for Amazon’s Alexa service.

Using the Amazon's Alexa Display API, smart home technologies like the Brilliant light switch can display results (visual content) and user interaction the same way you would get in Amazon's own product.

The display cards can be used to showcase weather forecasts, latest news and other information the user wishes to know.

Pricing for the Brilliant Control Light Switch will start at $199, and will be available in Q1 of 2018.
